DTMF Mobile Phone Controlled Dam Water Gates Controlling System With High Level Protection

ABSTRACT:

A system for early controlling of dam gate’s at particular location in any water dependent appliance and apparatus used in multi dwelling facilities. In practice, conventional controllers were used to control the system however their parameters are empirically adjusted. Besides, the operation of these controllers relies on the measurements provided by water level sensors located inside and near the dam. This system provides a high level of safety for dam applications. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC 16F877A which has a inbuilt features of ADC and I/O ports. The water level sensor estimates the dam water level; if the water level increases a particular threshold value then an alert signal will be provided by buzzer unit.
Similarly the Gate’s of dam will trigger the relay drive unit, which will tend to close the gate automatically with the help of motor and similar massage signal will be passed to control room units through GSM module. The required parameters of water level, message alert signal and buzzer alert signal will be displayed in LCD display.

Abstract

The controlling system of the dam gateà ¢ ' ¬â "¢ s at a certain position in any water dependent devices and device used in multiple housing units. In practice, the conventional controllers are used to control the system, but their parameters adjusted empirically. In addition, the work of these controllers depends on measurement of water level sensor located inside and near the dam. This system provides a high level of safety for dam applications. Microcontroller 8051 projects used in this. Water level sensor reads water dam; If the water level increases the special threshold value, then the alarm will be buzzer units and get a massage through the GSM module. The same microcontroller call relay drive, which will seek to open and close automatically with the help of a motor and a similar signal massage would be referred to the control module GSM large blocks. The required parameters of the water level alarm message and Alarm buzzer will be displayed on the LCD.

Automated sensors and remote communication are aimed at building a highly automated irrigation system that uses sensors such as water level indicators, door state monitoring sensor, health door sensor and power generation system etc. . The objective of this project is met with a water sensor for Indication of the water level, control of the position of the door and control system, and water sensor and sensor of remote communication based on water sensor. The sensors form the input module of the project. The project uses a microcontroller, which acts as a central control unit. This module is capable of communicating with the input and output modules. The output module consists of the motors used to close and open doors and also the DTMF. The microcontroller reads the sensor inputs continuously.

The required water level parameters, message alert signal and buzzer alert signal will be displayed on the LCD.
